Amidst this festive season when Diwali is ahead, people used to fire crackers, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has enforced Stage Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP-1) in Delhi-NCR due to the decreased quality of air.

With the Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded on October 14, 2025 is dipping to 211, categorized as "poor" air quality, the authorities have announced measures to reduce pollution by taking some bold steps. Under GRAP-1, dust control measures such as anti-smog guns will be implemented in Delhi-NCR and dust control measures will be required at all construction and demolition sites, these strict dust control protocol is for minimizing air pollution.
