DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado Safe2Tell saw its second-highest total reports in program history last month, highlighting increased vigilance across the state in the wake of the Evergreen High School shooting.
The increase of reports in September, 3,846, often follows major school safety incidents, according to Attorney General Phil Weiser's Office in a press release, and does not directly connect to the event itself. The reports also still fall in line with the historic low of right around only 1% being false reports.
