Two men have been arrested following reports of people poaching deer in Telford.

West Mercia Police were alerted at around 3.30am on Monday, October 13.

Officers went to an address in Sutton Hill, where they found the remains of a deer.

A seriously injured dog was also discovered at the property and taken away by officers for treatment.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty and poaching.

The men, aged 20 and 37, have since been released on bail as enquiries continue.
