It comes as unemployment has reached its highest point in more than four years, reports MirrorOnline.

Data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) revealed the jobless rate climbed to 4.8% in the three months to August.

This marks a notable increase from 4.7% in the preceding three-month period.

It represents the highest unemployment figure since March to January 2021, when the Covid pandemic was at its peak.
