Actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda, who faced an uncomfortable moment during the Telusu Kada trailer launch, has now openly addressed the incident.
At yesterday’s event, a woman journalist asked him whether he was a “womanizer in real life” like his character in the film. Siddhu refused to answer the question on stage, choosing not to escalate the situation.
However, while interacting with the media today, he firmly condemned the behavior.
“Just because someone holds a mic, it doesn’t mean they can ask anything in any manner. It was disrespectful and created a toxic environment,” he stated.
He clarified that basic decorum applies to everyone regardless of gender.
This is not the first time the same journalist has drawn criticism for asking inappropriate and sensational questions.
