Malayalam cinema presents another intriguing film, ‘Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra’, starring Kalyani Priyadarshan. The movie revolves around a young woman who gains mystical skills while facing personal hurdles. She embraces her superpowers to save the world when evil surfaces. The film has gone on to become the highest grossing Malayalam movie of all time, the biggest Malayalam hit of 2025, and one of the top grossing Indian films of the year.

After its successful run at the box office, the film is now set to make its OTT debut, as announced by JioHotstar.

The streaming platform teased the release on X, calling it “The beginning of a new universe.”
