Actors Ruth Jones and James Corden have been friends for around 25 years. They first worked together in 2000 whilst appearing in Fat Friends, and have since achieved global recognition largely thanks to the beloved programme Gavin and Stacey , which they co-wrote.

The programme, which ran from 2007 to 2024 with intervals, featured Ruth, 59, and James, 47, portraying Nessa Jenkins and Neil 'Smithy' Smith.

Viewers were delighted when, in the final episode, their characters eventually became a couple.

Now, decades since their initial collaboration, the duo have joined forces for a publication entitled 'When Gavin Met Stacey And Everything In Between'.
