WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - The Wichita Police Department held a media briefing Tuesday morning on what they are calling a "possible abduction investigation."
On Sunday morning, a Ring video camera caught a woman who was taken by force about 2 a.m. near 14th and North Volutsia.
Investigators shared the video with the public with reduced background noise in hopes that someone would recognize the voice of the woman, who can be heard screaming:
Police ask that if you recognize either the man or the woman, you contact 911. They want to ensure the woman’s safety. Information can also be provided to WPD detectives at 316-268-4407 or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
The WPD said the Crime Stoppers reward being offered has been increased to $2,000, which leads to the identification of the man or wom
