VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Best Friends Animal Society is celebrating three states' recent no-kill proclamations made by their governors by partnering with 38 shelters for an adoption event.
On October 18, 38 shelters and rescue groups across Iowa, Indiana, and Kansas will be running events to keep adoption fees for pets to $50 or less in an effort to help find them their forever homes. More than 2,500 pets will be up for adoption across the participating organizations. Hours and fees will vary by location, so it is encouraged to check with participating shelters before visiting.
