That was the message Monday night as a new group of Coweta County Republicans launched the Coweta Republican Alliance, pledging to rebuild unity, civility and transparency in local GOP ranks.
The alliance was formed amid frustration with what local conservatives described as the Coweta County Republican Party’s lack of accountability and stagnant growth despite the county’s strong Republican majority.
Organizers described the alliance as a “parallel” effort to the county GOP, aimed at expanding participation, reducing tension within party ranks and opening space for new voices.
They said they will host candidate forums, promote voter education and coordinate volunteer efforts through the 2026 election cycle.
