The Coweta County School System confirmed Tuesday that an investigation is underway involving a Northgate High School employee following reports of an off-campus incident during the school’s homecoming weekend.

Public Information Officer Dean Jackson said the district “became aware of an incident that occurred reportedly at a Northgate employee’s house over the weekend of the Northgate homecoming.”

“We do have personnel who are on leave while that is being investigated,” Jackson said.

No disciplinary action has been taken, and no staff members have been terminated at this time, according to Jackson.

The district declined to provide additional details, citing the ongoing investigation as a personnel matter.
