SHREVEPORT, La. — The Robinson Film Center will host "The Unspoken Frame: A Celebration of Silent Film" on Oct. 22–23, setting aside two days to recognize the artistry and legacy of early cinema.
The highlight of the event will be the official dedication of one-of-a-kind silent era movie posters, which are now on permanent display at the film center. The two-day festival culminates with a live orchestral performance of Nosferatu (1922), performed by the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Kermit Poling. The event will also feature educational workshops and a community screening of Sherlock Jr. (1924).

The dedicated posters are for the films The Curse of the Great Southwest (1913) and In Touch with Dea
