YPSILANTI TWP, MI - A police officer sustained minor injuries after a person rammed him with a car during a traffic stop.

The person, whose age or gender were not released, had been stopped by Eastern Michigan University police shortly after midnight on Monday, Oct. 13, for driving while their license was suspended, said Melissa Thrasher, spokesperson for the university’s police department. They were stopped near Leforge Road and Woburn Drive in Ypsilanti Township.
