COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Franklin County judge temporarily blocked Gov. Mike DeWine's executive order Tuesday banning retailers from selling products with intoxicating hemp for 90 days.
DeWine signed the executive order last week, which ordered retailers to get rid of their intoxicating hemp products by Tuesday. Those who would continue to sell the products would face a daily $500 fine until the products are taken off the shelves.
Three Ohio businesses sued DeWine after he signed the order. The restraining order granted by the judge lasts for 14 days.
