KERMAN, Calif. (KFSN) -- A suspect has been arrested in connection to a homicide that happened at a wedding in Kerman.
Authorities took 53-year-old Salvador Rizo on Tuesday in Kings County.
Deputies say on October 4, they were called to a home on South Congress Avenue near North Avenue around 10 p.m.
When they arrived, they found 63-year-old Martin Tovar Zalazar with several injuries.
He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
Homicide detectives and the Fresno County Sheriff's Crime Scene Unit worked to collect evidence that they say pointed to Rizo as the primary suspect.
He has booked into the Fresno County jail and is not eligible for bail.
Authorities say the victim and suspect knew each other.
