BOISE, Idaho — A plane was diverted to the Boise Airport on Tuesday morning after a passenger allegedly assaulted crew members mid-flight. She was subsequently arrested.
Tracy Barkhimer, 61, of White Salmon, Washington, was arrested on two counts of battery after she "was showing erratic behavior and struck two airline employees who were attempting to calm her down," according to the Boise Police Department.
Alaska Airlines Flight 1057 departed from Portland (PDX) on Tuesday at 12:26 a.m. MDT and headed to Dallas (DFW), according to an Alaska Airlines spokesperson. Boise Police said the incident occurred shortly before 1:30 a.m. MDT Tuesday, Oct. 14.
