CORDOVA, Tenn. (WMC) - The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a second suspect accused of killing an 18-year-old in Cordova back in August.
Antwain Carrick, 18, is charged with first-degree murder and employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
Carrick is accused in the shooting death of Antonio Sykes Jr.
Deputies reportedly found Sykes dead inside a car parked outside businesses at the intersection of Berryhill Road and Chimneyrock Boulevard on August 22.
The first suspect, identified as Trenton Harris, 18, was captured in Georgia a week after the homicide.
Harris is also charged with first-degree murder.
Both he and Carrick are currently being held at the Shelby County Jail on $1 million bonds each.
