BEAUMONT, Texas — The VFW Auxiliary and Blue Star Mothers of America Jefferson County will host the Operation Freedom Harvest Market and Car Show on October 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 511 Grigsby Ave in Port Neches. The fundraising event will support both organizations' efforts to assist veterans, active duty service members, and their families.

The event combines a vendor market at the VFW post with a car show in the adjacent park. According to VFW Auxiliary President Deanne Soderholm, vendor and car show entry fees will be split equally between the two organizations to fund their year-round operations.
