PHOENIX — A Maricopa County grand jury has formally indicted the suspect who is accused of killing two Arcadia High School students at Mount Ord.

Records show the grand jury indicted Thomas Brown, 31, on Oct. 10 with two counts of first-degree murder.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office arrested Brown on Oct. 2 following a months-long investigation into the deaths of 18-year-old Pandora Kjolsrud and 17-year-old Evan Clark.

Court records show Brown told MCSO he encountered a young male and female during a trip to the mountain on May 25. MCSO said Brown's DNA was allegedly found in the victim's car and inside a pair of gloves collected from the scene.
