There are so many special treats to living in the San Francisco Bay and Central Coast area. The natural beauty around from ocean to forest, the diverse cuisine and rich culture. On any given day one can find anything from a local show, to a large concert, art exhibit, book reading or lecture. This Saturday several of those combine when South Bay painter Mark Engel speaks at the Triton Museum of Art. Known for his dramatic, vibrant and chaotic figures, this figurative painter captures the essence of the human form and blends it in a way to make the paintings look as if they’re moving.
