Avon, N.Y. (WROC)—Congratulations to our latest Golden Apple Award winner, Jennifer Leonard.

Leonard teaches first grade at Avon Elementary School. She has worked in Avon schools for 34 years and has loved every minute of it. Principal Christie DeWald says, "despite the fact that she's a veteran teacher, she comes in every day with such enthusiasm and excitement to help students, help families, and help her colleagues. She is always seeking new opportunities and challenges to be better than she was the day before."
