A 17-year-old now faces reckless murder charges after the victim in a Huntsville shooting died from his injuries.

The shooting happened on Oct. 10 at Hilltop Terrace . Huntsville Police say Randy Reed, 59, of Huntsville, died from injuries he sustained during the incident.

The 17-year-old was originally charged with assault non-family gun. Huntsville Police say the investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
