MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Shelby County Clerk Wanda Halbert says late tag renewals have doubled since the Memphis Safe Task Force began operations in the city.

Tuesday afternoon, Halbert released data showing that renewals spike at the end of September, around the time the task force began operations.
