HILLSBORO, Ore. (KPTV) - A 52-year-old man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after being found guilty of sexually abusing two children under the age of 10, according to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office.

Prosecutors say Felipe Mandujano-Cardona, 52, was arrested after two victims under 10 years old reported that they had been sexually abused.

The first victim reported in 2015 that they had been abused multiple times over several years, leading Hillsboro Police and the Oregon Department of Human Services to investigate.

Mandujano-Cardona reportedly tried to leave the area when he learned about the investigation, and an arrest warrant was issued.
