INDIANAPOLIS — Hoosiers will be able to support their local high school athletes just by eating at McDonald's next week.

The company's owner/operators across the state are taking part in High School Sports Digital Fundraiser Day on Tuesday, Oct. 21. On that day, McDonald's says 184 Indiana schools will earn 10 percent of all sales purchased through the McDonald's app.

High School Sports Digital Fundraiser Day started in Ohio and this is the second time Indiana restaurants are taking part in the fundraiser.

Locally owned McDonald's restaurants selected a school in their community to receive the donations, with each school receiving at least $250.
