BLOUNT COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - The Blount County Sheriff’s Office has concluded there was no criminal activity involved in the death of a 3-year-old.

On July 31, 2025, an investigation was launched after a 3-year-old was found dead in their bed by their parents in Blount County.

The Blount County Sheriff’s Office shared with WBRC on Tuesday, Oct. 14 that their investigation concluded with no suspicion of criminal activity.

The sheriff’s office did say they cannot comment on the cause of death at this time because all deaths in Blount County are presented to a grand jury.
