CHICAGO (WGN) — The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) says it will not play a video featuring Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem inside its O'Hare or Midway airport terminals.

In the video, Noem blames Democrats for the ongoing federal government shutdown and its impact on flights and delays at Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoints.

CDA said Tuesday that Noem's video did not comply with the department's advertising guidelines, which prohibit content that endorses or opposes any named political party.

"These guidelines help ensure the airports remain welcoming and neutral spaces for all travelers," CDA added.
