MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- One South Memphis family is in mourning Tuesday night and held a candle-lit vigil for a two-year-old killed after being hit by a car on Monday.

Monday evening, Layloni was hit and killed by a car at the Economy Inn off Ketchum Road.

Memphis Police said the driver in a Chevy Impala hit the toddler while she was walking along the hotel's fence.
