The Sun Valley Community School Cutthroats boys and girls soccer teams advanced to their respective district championship contests with wins on Tuesday.

The SVCS boys team got goals from Chris Arenas, Tommy Hovey and Hunter Nelson as it defeated the Gooding Senators 3-0 at Browning Field in Sun Valley and will play at the Wendell Trojans on Thursday for the Idaho Class 4A High Desert district title, with a 4 p.m. kickoff.

Keeley Strine registered two goals for the SVCS girls team in a 2-0 win against the Buhl Indians. The Cutthroats travel to take on the Kimberly Bulldogs for the High Desert district title on Thursday, with a 4 p.m. kickoff.
