FULTON — The Missouri State Highway Patrol held a training session Tuesday on church safety and security training in a partnership with the Fulton Police Department.
The training session was held at the Legends Rec Plex in Fulton where dozens of people were in attendance.
Highway Patrol Sgt. Kyle Green presented the session, where local church leaders and members of different churches came together to learn about keeping their communities safe.
"We want people to take the opportunity now while they have the time to get the training, to listen to what we have to say, to get the proper first aid equipment and have all that stuff ready, so if something were to happen, their congregation is prepared," Green said.
