Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has successfully completed testing of the Tejas Mk 1A fighter jet at its Ozar facility in Nashik, Maharashtra.

The company, which is responsible for manufacturing Tejas aircraft for the Indian Air Force (IAF), had recently received its fourth engine from the United States in September, marking a key milestone in the production process.

The LCA (Light Combat Aircraft) Mark 1A is an advanced version of the original Tejas fighter jet. It comes equipped with upgraded avionics and radar systems, enhancing its operational capabilities.

More than 65% of its equipment is manufactured in India, making it a symbol of domestic technological advancement in defense aviation.
