LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A nationwide protest and march called No Kings will be held Saturday, Oct. 18, from 2 to 5 p.m. at The Belvedere .

The movement began in June, coinciding with former President Trump’s military parade in Washington, D.C.

The event will include a community drive supporting the Southern High School Solidarity Project , a program started by students and staff at Southern High School to provide food and supplies to immigrant families fearful of leaving home.

Volunteers collect donations, sort them, pack care packages, and deliver them directly to families. Packages typically contain non-perishable food, baby items, and toiletries.

Organizers are asking participants to bring bags of rice, dried beans, diapers, and menstrual pads. The march is part of a coordinated effor
