The Rogers County Sheriff’s Office captured a man who walked away from a mental health treatment facility near Claremore.
The sheriff says the patient is a violent offender who left the facility Monday night, but deputies weren’t alerted until hours later.
Sheriff Scott Walton says he's glad everything ended peacefully, but he wonders why it took hours for law enforcement to be alerted about the patient.
Walton says Beaux Jones was supposed to be at a GRAND Mental Health Facility in Claremore under court orders.
Law enforcement originally said it was a prisoner who walked away, but Walton says that was an error.
Walton says Jones was reported missing around 10 a.m. Tuesday and was last seen during an 8 p.m. headcount Monday night.
