A 13-year-old girl was put on a 'behaviour contract' by her Birmingham school days before she stabbed another pupil in the neck, a court heard.

The accused secondary student had poor attendance and was 'refusing to get out of bed' amid concerns raised by her mother she was being bullied, Birmingham Crown Court was told.

But she 'didn't want to tell us about what was going on', a senior staff member at the school said.
