Juneau Plans New Drive-Down Float

Plans are in motion to create a new "drive down float" at Juneau's Aurora Harbor. The City and Borough of Juneau says construction is right now in the design phase. The public is invited to come and learn all about the project during a meeting at the Juneau Yacht Club. That's on Wednesday, October 15, at 6:30 p.m.

Fairbanks Principal Honored

Congratulations to the principal of Tanana Middle School in Fairbanks. The Alaska Association of Secondary School Principals has named Heather Johnson as Alaska's 2026 Principal of the Year. She'll now be under consideration for the title of National Principal of the Year.
