This is a rundown on some of the actions taken during the five-hour Roswell City Council meeting on Oct. 9. These topics have been the subjects of recent stories in the Roswell Daily Record:

• The council approved a three-year land lease with the New Mexico Historical Air Museum for use of about 166,000 square feet of ground at the Roswell Air Center to move aircraft from the airport to the museum site on private land southeast of the airport, near Y O Road and Crossroads Street. The cost is $16,600 for the first year. The museum will be responsible for constructing a strip to move aircraft toward its site and building a secure gate between the airport and the museum.

• Roswell Museum will move into a different temporary space at the airport after the October 2024 flooding disaster left
