President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, paid floral tributes to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on his birth anniversary at Rashtrapati Bhavan today, October 15, 2025.

The solemn ceremony honored the legacy of Dr. Kalam, who served as the 11th President of India and remains one of the most respected scientists and visionaries in the country. Known as the “Missile Man of India,” Dr. Kalam played a pivotal role in India’s defense and space programs, inspiring generations with his dedication to education, innovation, and national service.

President Murmu placed flowers before Dr. Kalam’s portrait, reflecting the nation’s deep respect for his contributions. The tribute was part of a nationwide remembrance, with educational institutions and government bodies also marking the occasion.
