Owners of certain cars are facing higher charges following changes at the start of October.

Energy prices have gone up again, hitting those who drive electric vehicles (EVs).

They will now have to pay more to charge their cars each day, with the daily cost almost £16 on average.

To fully charge an EV at home (based on a 60kWh battery) the cost has increased from £15.43 to £15.81.

While the daily increase is small, it can quickly add up for those who need to charge their cars every day, or even a few times a week.
