HUDSON VALLEY – Lawmakers from the Hudson Valley have ripped Young Republican leaders after a report by Politico revealed a disturbing series of group chats filled with racist, anti-Semitic, and violent messages.
The messages reportedly included leaders from state chapters of the Young Republicans in New York, Kansas, Arizona, and Vermont. Messages in the chat included repeated use of slurs, such as the n-word, the r-word, and homophobic f-slurs, which appeared more than 250 times, as well as jokes about sexual assault and the Holocaust.
