Autumn has arrived once again and soon the Tree Commission will be adding 20 new trees to our city’s canopy.

The cooler nights, and hopefully more rainfall, allow the soil to stay moist and offer a perfect time to plant new trees. The roots will keep growing into December, even when the leaves have dropped, and begin growing again in March before the heat of summer arrives.
