Lake Oswego voters to decide $245M school bond

The Lake Oswego School District is asking voters to approve a $245 million bond that would replace two aging elementary schools and update the district’s 11 other school buildings.

Under the proposed measure, property owners would continue to pay $2.90 per $1,000 of assessed value. For a homeowner with a house valued at $465,000, the district’s median, that would be about $420 a year.
