An overturned semi- trailer involved in a multi-vehicle crash coupled with an oil spill shut down all lanes of a freeway connector road for several hours near Griffith Park on Wednesday, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Officers from the CHP responded at approximately 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to the northbound 5 Freeway, south of the westbound 134 Freeway where they found the jack-knifed semi and several vehicles involved in a collision, including a black Nissan Pathfinder, a white Toyota Camry and a black Honda Civic, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
