Ithink I already hate Is This Thing On ? Bradley Cooper’s latest writing/directorial effort (he also was the B camera man! Let no one say Boop is lazy, anyway). Per Mr. Google: “Facing middle age and an impending divorce, Alex finds new purpose in the New York comedy scene, while his wife, Tess, confronts the sacrifices she made for their family.” The reviews are good but am I interested in a movie about a middle-aged man’s mid-life crisis taking him to the world of stand-up? Probably not. I AM interested in some of the outfits people wore to its BFI screening, though, I’ll tell you that. And I’m concerned about various headsuits.
