Shillong, Oct 15: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has denied allegations of uranium mining in Garo Hills, stating that there is no evidence or information to support such claims.

"There is no nay kind of activity or any kind of evidence or any kind of information that has to reflect that any kind of such activities going on," Sangma told reporters on Wednesday while responding to the recent allegations made by BJP MDC from Tura Bernard N Marak.

He urged leaders making allegations to come forward with details and proof, promising that the government would take immediate action if evidence is found.
