After being a part of a Final Four run in his freshman season, Auburn basketball guard Tahaad Pettiford is the lone returner. The team now has 10 new players.
Entering this season as the starting guard, Pettiford’s role has completely changed from last season’s sixth man position.
Averaging 11.6 points per game in 2024, Pettiford’s mindset for this year is showing the country how complete a player he is.
“Definitely something new for me, coming into this. Ten new guys, definitely different from our team last year — being the youngest guy last year to being one of the oldest guys on the team. Just trying to give them the stuff that I learned last year, just trying to pass that down to the new guys and especially the freshmen,” Pettiford said at SEC Media Days.
