SRINAGAR : Jammu Kashmir police have arrested three long-time absconders in separate operations conducted in Srinagar and Shopian districts of Kashmir valley, officials said on Wednesday. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

In Srinagar, two accused — identified as Waseem Bhat, son of Abdul Majeed Bhat, a resident of Al-Farooq Colony presently living in Hamdaniya Colony, Bemina, and Ab Rashid Sheikh, son of Ab Ahad Sheikh of Athwajan, Panthachowk were apprehended following specific intelligence inputs. Police said Bhat had been evading arrest since 2013, while Sheikh had been on the run since 2021.

Both individuals were taken into custody after verification and produced before the concerned court in Srinagar following completion of legal formalities.
