Patrick Kenney, 8th-grade physical science teacher at Ben Steele Middle School, holds a Flight Night event at the school on Wednesday. Students assembled rubber band airplanes and then flew them in a competition for prizes that included gifts from the Montana Aeronautics Division. The event teaches students about hands-on flying and aircraft handling as well as model-building for understanding flight principles.
