GARRISON PETAWAWA — Residents across the Ottawa Valley can expect to see military convoys on local highways this week as the Royal Canadian Dragoons (RCD) carry out a large-scale training exercise between Petawawa and Renfrew.
The Department of National Defence has announced that Exercise Charging Dragoon will run from Oct. 15 to 18, involving up to 50 military vehicles, including armoured, patrol, and transport units.

The exercise begins on Wednesday, Oct. 15, when the Regiment departs Garrison Petawawa and travels along Highways 41 and 60, making stops in North Algona Wilberforce Township and the community of Douglas before reaching the City of Renfrew.
