SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - The South Charleston Police Department’s deputy chief Andrew Gordon confirmed a driver has died after a crash on Corridor G this morning.

Chief Gordon said the two-vehicle crash happened when a vehicle traveling northbound crossed into the southbound lanes.

He said the southbound vehicle was overturned and the driver in the northbound car died.

The name of the northbound driver is still unknown at this time, Chief Gordon said.

The southbound lanes will be closed for another 20 minutes.
