TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology alumna and former leader of the institute's Chi-Omega sorority has been named to the board of trustees.
Nellie Hohne, a 1999 mechanical engineering graduate, will join the board as the newest Alumni Representative.
Rose-Hulman said Hohne has been actively engaged with the institution for more than 20 years.
In 2002, she began volunteering as a member of the Young Alumni Council.
She then joined the Alumni Advisory Board, where she served as chair, vice president and president.
“Nellie’s commitment to Rose-Hulman and its alumni community is an inspiration,” said Rose-Hulman President Robert A. Coons. “Her leadership, enthusiasm, and understanding of the Rose-Hulman experience will provide a valuable voice on our Boar
